Credits & billing

Scans consume credits from your organization's balance. Every transaction (grants, purchases, deductions, refunds, expiries) is recorded in an append-only ledger your admins can inspect.

Cost per item

The optional compliant-rewrite adds 5 credits per item — refunded automatically for every item that turns out clean. Advanced scans also refund the unused depth when the evidence layer wasn't needed.

Buying credits

Organization admins buy credit packages under Billing & Credits. New workspaces can claim 300 trial credits for 7 days by saving a card — nothing is charged to it. Card payments are processed securely via Stripe.

Validity — credits expire after 12 months

Every credit is valid for 365 days from the moment it is added — purchases and trial or promotional grants alike. Any unspent remainder of a batch expires on that date and appears as an expire entry in the credit ledger. Consumption always spends your soonest-expiring credits first, so a batch is never stranded behind a later one.

Failed scans

If a scan fails or stalls, its credits are refunded automatically by the cleanup job — you only pay for processed items.
