Every text runs through a three-layer engine: a deterministic keyword and regex scanner built from court-confirmed terms, EFSA-rejected claims, and the EU Register; a category-aware AI classifier grounded in HCVO 1924/2006 (food) and EC 1223/2009 + EU 655/2013 (cosmetics); and a retrieval layer that pulls the actual regulation text, court rulings, and EFSA opinions behind each finding. Every flag is annotated with the specific regulation, article, and source reference so your team can verify it in seconds.
German and English run in production, each with its own blocklist, authorized-claims whitelist, and legal prompts. French, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish texts can be scanned today via the English legal engine. The underlying EU regulations apply in every member state.
VeriClaim is built for GDPR compliance. The application and your stored data are hosted in the EU. To analyse your text, we send it to third-party LLM sub-processors (Anthropic, OpenAI, and, where configured, Google) under data-processing agreements; under those providers' API business terms your content is not used to train their models. Text is encrypted in transit. Scans are scoped to your organization, so no other tenant can see your catalogue. A signed DPA listing our sub-processors is available on request.

Each text item consumes credits based on scan depth, from a fast keyword sweep across a whole catalogue to a deep scan with legal-grade evidence per finding.
